Tun Suffian Postgraduate Phd Scholarship


All Postgraduate Phd applications for scholarships (except for the Tun Suffian Cambridge Scholarship, for which see below) are to be submitted to the DEANS of the respective universities, who shall thereafter forward to the Honorary Secretary at the following address:

Application Details:

Postgraduate Phd Applicants must submit completed forms- this includes a 500-word essay (in English) as to why they would like to pursue the course.

• Applicants must submit a reference letter from a referee (academic).

Postgraduate Phd Candidates must submit a copy of the letter of admission to the university as proof of admission. If there are second or third year students, they should submit previous years’ results.

• Applicants must submit completed forms- this includes a 500-word essay (in English) as to why they would like to pursue the course.

Postgraduate Phd Applications are to be submitted directly to the University of Cambridge Board of Graduate Studies in the appropriate Graduate Admission and Scholarship Application Form (GRADSAF), attaching therewith all relevant particulars required from the applicant.

Application Deadline:
LLM- local universities: Deadline for applications: 31 July 2011
LLB-local universities: Deadline for applications: 31 August 2011
PhD-local universities: Deadline: within two months of receipt of formal letter of admission to pursue the PhD degree from university.

Postgraduate Phd Association Awards


The University of Liverpool Postgraduate Phd Association (Hong Kong) Awards were established in 1997 after a generous donation from an anonymous benefactor.

Goal Details:

The
Postgraduate Phd objectives of these grants promote educational exchanges and research university in each case between Liverpool University and residents of Hong Kong and the PRC.

Information on eligibility:

A number of
Postgraduate Phd scholarships annually to outstanding scientific approved first degree or postgraduate study, to study full time. Each scholarship is for a period of three years, valid in the case of academic progress.
The value of the scholarship covers the full or partial payment of the annual tuition fees. A living allowance will be granted if deemed necessary.
